Texas Instruments OMAPL138 SDK
Overview
Texas Instruments OMAPL138 is a low-power duel core 300mhz ARM with a 300-MHz C674x VLIW Fixed/Floating Point Digital Signal Processor. This architecture is ideal for fixed or floating point DSP applications which also require a highly capable application stack. The OMAPL138 support from RidgeRun includes our full Linux Kernel and file system with Gstreamer running on top of TI's CODEC Engine.
RidgeRun can also provide a OMAP-L137 SDK if you require.
RidgeRun provides a fully featured Software Development Kit for the Texas Instruments L138 architecture including a fully functional sample application. Learn more about our SDK.

Avnet Spartan©-6/OMAP® Co-Processing Development Kit
The Avnet Spartan-6/OMAP Co-Processing Development Kit is a Targeted Design Platform (TDP)
consisting of the Spartan-6 LX45T FPGA co-processing base board with one LogicPD OMAP-L138 SOM-M1
module. The growing demand for high performance processing and flexible interfaces is driving
interest in new FPGA-based co-processing architectures. The Texas Instruments’ OMAP-L138
applications processor offers a powerful dual core system containing an ARM9 CPU and a
fixed/floating point C674X class DSP. The Xilinx Spartan-6 LX45T brings a low power, high
performance FPGA with 45,000 logic cells, 58 DSP slices and dedicated Gigabit serial transceivers.
Running Linux on the OMAP-L138 makes it easy to stream data from various I/Os to displays,
networks ports or file systems all the while handling the user interaction so the DSP and FPGA
can focus on what they do best - transform raw data into something meaningful.
Hawk Board Based on the TI OMAPL138
Based on the OMAPL138, the Hawk Board is designed as a low-cost DSP + ARM board.
This board is ideal for medical devices, audio processing and industrial applications.
RidgeRun is a community supporter of Hawk Board and soon will deliver our Developer's and
Evaluation SDK for the Hawk Board.
