Vala is new language adopted by the Gnome community for developing software with glib and gobject based libraries (but not limited only to those).

Vala is a high level, object oriented language, with a syntax close to C#.

RidgeRun uses vala (and supports the technology on the SDK) for rapid application development in different projects.
