This guide is oriented to help the new users to configure their Zoom AM35xx EVM boards and work with the RidgeRun's SDK Turrialba.

Installation

In order to install your DM35xx SDK Turrialba you can follow the steps described in the installation section of the RidgeRun Turrialba SDK User Guide.

Using the board's features

This section shows how to use some of the basic features of the board using the RidgeRun's SDK Turrialba.

Setting the booting mode

RideRun's SDK supports only SD card boot selected in hardware for each specific board. In the case of the Zoom AM3517 EVM board the boot options are selected from the switch S7 as is shown in the following image:

The correct combination for the selection of boot mode is described below:

  • MMC/SD card boot mode

In order to set the SD/MMC card boot mode set SW4 switches #3, #6, #7, #8 to the ON position and all others OFF as is shown below:

Using the composite input

In order to use the composite input you require to do some hardware setup: connect the the Zoom AM3517 application board that includes a composite video input and set the S11 switches #1 and #2 to the ON position as shown below:
